Storytelling With Rubber Stamps (Scrapbook Storytelling (Series), Bk. 1.)
Published in Paperback by Efg Inc (January, 2002)
Authors: Joanna Campbell Slan, Joanna Campbell Slan, and Joanna Campbell-Slan
Average review score:

Terrific Resource for the Scrapbooker!
If you are interested in both scrapbooking and rubber stamping, this book will greatly assist in combining the two. The techniques are clearly explained and are illustrated in full color. Just leafing through the book, I saw two techniques I'm going to try right away! Also included are "Story Starters" to help get ideas for journaling and lots of tips. One thing I really liked was the examples of borders with goofs; that really helps put the reader at ease with their own work! This book will be extremely helpful to the beginner and to the more advanced scrapbooker/stamper looking for new ideas. I highly recommend this one!

This CD enabled me to learn a great deal about what to expect when going into a job interview. I have used this CD over and over again. Each time I interview I can guarantee that I have looked over the contents at least twice. I enjoyed the video content.. the videos were short but concise and the humor made it enjoyable to watch over and over again.

I would recommend this book for a comprehensive and easy to follow activities students enjoy. I used this guide for a Saturday Enrichment class for high school students failing in one or more classes. After completing the STUDY SKILL WORKOUT the students improved in their classes and had a better understanding for a acquiring good study skills and habits. I am ordering a copy of the book to use at a new school in the fall since I am leaving my current school that uses this curriculum.

Successful Women, Angry Men
Published in Paperback by Berkley Pub Group (12 December, 2000)
Author: Bebe Moore Campbell
Average review score:

A must read!
The first time I read this book it had a white woman on the cover dressed in corporate attire. After reading the first few pages I knew something was up...I checked the back cover, no author photo, hmmmm. I was sure it was written by one of our own, and sure enough, a couple years later when Bebe Moore's Fiction came out I put the name together. No one could tell this truth like a sistah. The written unadulterated truth. Why our men, no matter how often they claim to offer 100% support still are uncomfortable with their women having too much success. Successful Women, Angry Men is a serious must read for every woman, but especially the black woman, who has a legacy of being strong and independent. This book not only identifies the problems that arise out of two income households but also how to subjugate them before they start. Bravo MS. Campbell! And thank you to the publisher for bringing this book out of hiding...now, if we could just get a high powered sistah on the front cover, briefcase in one hand, cell phone in the other, we'd be in business.
